Hair Transplantation
Nowadays, hair transplantation is the most definitive treatment for hair loss. In this method, the specialist use the needed hair for transplantation from the behind of head and above of ear. These parts of body aren’t sensitive to the male hormone and if hair transplantation would be well done, hairs will grow continuously. Hair transplantation has different methods such as;
FIT (Follicular Isolation Technique ) Hair Transplantation
Duration of Surgery: depends on transplantation location, one or two days rest is needed. Hospitalization: No need, this surgery is done on outpatient surgery basis. Restoration: If the hair bank of patient is appropriate, hair restoration may be needed to increase hair density. Time between surgery and probable restoration: 9 ~ 12 months. Result: depends on patient’s hair bank and age. In an appropriate condition, above 90% of patients achieve good result.
FUT (Follicular unit transplant ) Hair Transplantation
Follicular unit transplant (FUT) is the traditional hair transplant method which involves extracting a linear strip of hair bearing skin from the back or the side of the scalp. The strip is then dissected to separate individual grafts.
Duration of Surgery: usually 1 day. Hospitalization: No need, this surgery is done on outpatient surgery basis. Restoration: If the hair bank of patient is appropriate, hair restoration may be needed to increase hair density. Time between surgery and probable restoration: 9 ~ 12 months. Result: due to more healthy follicle, this method is more successful than FIT.
Combined Hair Transplantation
In this method, specialist uses both method of FIT & FUT. Duration of Surgery: 1 ~ 2 days. Hospitalization: No need, this surgery is done on outpatient surgery basis. Restoration: If the hair bank of patient is appropriate, hair restoration may be needed to increase hair density. Time between surgery and probable restoration: 9 ~ 12 months. Result: combination of FIT & FUT.
Lipomatic
By making holes on skin surface, waste fat is removed from the skin. Fat degradation is done through infrared waves which have the least damage to adjacent tissues. Duration of Surgery: 2 ~ 8 hours and no need to hospitalization. Restoration: usually no need to restoration but if so, it will be done 6 ~ 12 months after surgery.
Fat Injection
A kind of fat grafting in which fat is removed from various parts of body like abdomen, sides, hips, buttocks and after preparation, fat is injected into parts which need to have volume increase like cheek, lips, laughing line, boobs, hips. This method is done just by making holes on the body surface and no need to cut & suture.
Duration of Surgery: 1 ~ 2 hours and no need to hospitalization. Restoration: minimum 1 ~ 3 times within 6 months between surgery and probable restoration.
